Beginners, however, are exempted from that rule, and it is a fact that a formula may help you begin. Around the time when you finish your first draft, you can have those which work retained. Others may be replaced with your own steps in writing.
The initial step is a synopsis that is short, probably one having a single paragraph. This must contain what the story actually is about. Other elements to be included are the protagonist and the reasons why she is the main character of that novel.
Also, you must have the primary issue in that story highlighted and how this would be resolved. You must know that you might not be able to have specific information supplied at first but there is no need of worrying. Such is because information that are missing would come anyway.
You must have your protagonist created properly, and you must write down each attributes that she has. The attributes include the way she looks, her past, how she thinks, the state of her emotions, and her hops. So the story can be considered successful, you should have a major characterization flaw put, and such a flaw needs to be that which the protagonist should overcome herself.
The novel has to be plot in three parts, and the first part is called the hook. This part is intended to have the reader hooked to your story and allows for the character background to be established. This must end in one event that will have the story turned in a direction that is not expected.
Plotting the second portion of the novel must be done next. Such a part needs to highlight the crisis faced by the protagonist over the said triggering event during the first part. There is a need for her to struggle in handling and overcoming the crisis and must end with her realization on why there is a need for her to solve the issue as it becomes worse.
Part three of the novel then should be made, and the problem, by then, should be at its worst possible point. Also, this has to show the way the main character herself will solve the problem. Know that she has to solve the problems of the story herself, and not have someone else solve it for her.
You must know that in that tale, and possibly in the fairy tale books for adults, every chapter should read similar to mini books. But you must start with one event which will hook the readers and be sure to have a hook at the end too. The last chapter is exempt from the rule, since it will close the entire story.
