There’s a good chance that you’ve come across the word “meme” at some point or another in the past few years. It’s an arcane academic concept but at the same time it’s also one of those things that you can identify, but can’t describe easily.Richard Dawkins coined the phrase in an effort to help explain cultural evolution in his 1976 book, The Selfish Gene, where it’s defined as a shared element intended to be passed around within a culture, a societal analog to a gene. Everything from Tamagotchis to “That’s what she said” count as memes. On the Internet , memes are more visible than ever before, and what’s more, they’re also serious business. Now, even though it may not be immediately apparent, there are a number of universal qualities that all successful viral memes have in common.

The best goal for you is one that lines up with your personal values. Otherwise if you ignore what is most important to you and pursue a goal that sounds like the right thing to do you might feel disappointed later if it turns out to be the wrong direction in your life. You don’t want to put your ladder up against the wrong wall and then feel you’re stuck in the wrong place.

As someone who works from home, I know the importance of organization. There are two types of work from home people, in my opinion. There are those who work in a home office and there are those who have laptops and tend to work anywhere in the house, or anywhere else that they go, such as coffee shops of the library.

Culture-it is a powerful tool if you want to change your life. Culture is defined by the established beliefs and ideals set by a particular group of people. The most influential of these are those cultures that have been put in families, companies and in the nation.

The world is dominated by life-long learners: people who take the time to learn everything they can about their chosen field and everything they can about corresponding subjects. The 400 most successful businesspeople “the Forbes 400″ attribute most of their success to reading at least one non-fiction book a month. But when you have a family and work wants to dominate your time, carving out the time to read all those books can be difficult. New books on every subject are being published every day. How is one supposed to keep up at work or school, spend time with family and find time to read ten to fifteen extra books a year?

Are you a successful entrepreneur? It usually seems that there is some magic formula, but the reality couldn’t be farther from the truth. Topping the list of such characteristics, is the entrepreneur’s self-confidence in his/her own self and ability to excel in comparison to others, followed by sheer efforts to stay focused on a rather lofty objective, and thirdly by a judicious combination of risk-taking mixed with caution in almost perfect balance.

Whether you become successful in life is truly dependent upon your personal definition of what “success” truly means. For some life success is obtaining great amounts of money and prestige. For others it is creating a solid family life. Still for others it could be physical wellness or a full social life. Regardless of what your definition of success is one fact remains true, you must have a clear vision of what you want in order to obtain what you seek. Your goals cannot be hazy they must be solidly set in your minds eye as though you have already received them. This was the basis for creating the Life Success Library.com, a site that offers life success aids from various authors all geared to several aspects of success. There are many such reference libraries out there and they’re a great way to research your goals. But for now, let’s take each definition of success and break it down, starting with wealth. I want to be rich, is not enough for one to say.
